Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
| L |
Our Lord Jesus Christ is present among us in the Sacrament of the Eucharist. In his infinite love he wishes to continue his life in us and repeats to us: ‘Those who eat my flesh and drink my blood abide in me, and I in them.’ (John 6:56). Let us adore him and thank him.

Introductory prayer:
| L |
O Sacred Banquet,
|
| R |
in which Christ is our food, his passion is recalled, grace fills our hearts, and we receive a pledge of the glory to come. (Alleluia). |
| L |
You have given us bread from heaven, (alleluia,)
|
| R |
having in it the fruits of all goodness. (Alleluia). |
| L |
Lord Jesus Christ, you gave us the Eucharist as the memorial of your suffering, death, and resurrection. May our worship of this sacrament of your body and blood help us to experience the salvation you won for us and the peace of the kingdom where you live and reign for ever and ever.
|
| R |
Amen.
(The Alleluia is added during the whole of Eastertide and on the Feast of the Body and Blood of Christ [Thursday or Sunday after Trinity Sunday])

Let us remember that our holy Founder gave us the life of our Lord Jesus Christ as a fundamental rule so that we might imitate him in our community life and in our apostolate.

Thanksgiving
|
| L |
Eternal Father, |
| R |
We unite ourselves with Mary, to offer you the Blood of Jesus Christ in thanksgiving, as though you had already granted us the gift of making the hidden and public life of Christ, even to his death on the cross, the model of our lives, for your glory, and for our salvation and that of our brothers and sisters. |

Prayer of St Vincent Pallotti to Mary, Queen of Apostles
| L |
Immaculate Mother of God, Queen of Apostles, |
| R |
we know that God’s commandment of love and our vocation to follow Jesus Christ in the Union of Catholic Apostolate, impels us to cooperate in the saving mission of the Church. |
| L |
Realising our weakness, we entrust the renewal of our personal lives and our apostolate to your intercession.
|
| R |
We are confident that through God’s mercy and the infinite merits of Jesus Christ, you who are our Mother, will obtain for us the strength of the Holy Spirit as you obtained it for the community of the apostles gathered in the Cenacle. |
| L |
Therefore, relying on your powerful intercession, we are resolved from this moment on, to devote our talents, learning, material resources, health, sickness and trials, and every gift of nature and grace, to the greater glory of God and the salvation of all.
|
| R |
We wish to do all that lies within our power to promote the Catholic Apostolate for the revival of faith and love in the people of God and so bring all to faith in Jesus Christ. |
| L |
And if a time should come when we shall no longer be able to work physically for this end, we will never cease to pray that there may be one fold and one shepherd, Jesus Christ.
|
| R |
In this way, we hope to enjoy the fruits of the apostolate of Jesus Christ for all eternity. Amen. |
Prayer for the Dead
| L |
For deceased members, relatives and benefactors.
Psalm 130 (129)
A prayer of repentance and trust
|
| 1 |
Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord, Lord, hear my voice! O let your ears be attentive to the voice of my pleading. |
| 2 |
If you, O Lord, should mark our guilt, Lord, who would survive? But with you is found forgiveness: for this we revere you.
|
| 1 |
My soul is waiting for the Lord. I count on his word. My soul is longing for the Lord more than those who watch for daybreak. (Let the watchers count on daybreak and Israel on the Lord). |
| 2 |
Because with the Lord there is mercy and fullness of redemption, Israel indeed he will redeem from all its iniquity.
|
| L |
Give them eternal rest, O Lord, |
| R |
and may your light shine on them.
|
| L |
May they rest in peace. |
| R |
Amen.
