Jubilee 2025

2025 marks the 2025th Anniversary of the birth of Jesus

190 years ago, St. Vincent Pallotti was inspired to found the Union of Catholic Apostolate, an association of lay people, religious, and clergy called to revive faith, rekindle charity, and form apostles.

In the context of the Jubilee of the universal Church, today opens a Pallottine Jubilee commemorating the following anniversaries:
230 years since the birth of the Founder – April 21st
175 years since the death of the Founder – January 22nd
190 years of inspiration – January 9th
190 years of the foundation – April 4th
75 years of the Beatification of the Founder – January 22nd
75 years of the exhibition of the Founder’s relics – January 22nd

The theme for the Pallottine Jubilee is taken from a quote of St. Vincent Pallotti, “As long as we live, there is hope.”

During the Pallottine Jubilee, the Apostolic Penitentiary of the Holy See granted a Plenary Indulgence “under the usual conditions (sacramental confession, Eucharistic communion and prayer for the intentions of the Supreme Pontiff), which is also applicable in suffrage for the souls in Purgatory that may be obtained by the Fathers, the Sisters, the members of the same Society and all the faithful who, in a spirit of true penitence and animated by charity, visit the Church of the Most Holy Saviour in Onda (Santissimo Salvatore in Onda) in Rome as pilgrims throughout the Jubilee year, and
who on the 22nd day of each month of the same year, visit any church which is held by the aforesaid Society, and who will devoutly participate in the Jubilee celebrations there, or at least pause there for a suitable moment of devout prayer, concluding with the Lord’s Prayer, the Profession of Faith and invocations to the Blessed Virgin Mary and to Saint Vincent Pallotti.”
