Ordinations in East Africa
On Saturday 7 February there will be ordinations in Bashenet. Paul Makita will be ordained to the priesthood and the finally professed students, Allan Bukenya, Simon Sserufambi and Ronald Kyomya, will be ordained deacons. Bishop Beatus Kinyaiya has kindly agreed to ordain them. Bishops Kinyaiya was named Archbishop of Dodoma in November 2014 and was installed as Archbishop on January 18, so we are very grateful that he has made time for this most important event.
Paul Makita is a native of Makiungu and has been based in Bashenet; the three finally professed students are all Ugandan, and Allan is based in Siuyu, Simon in Esso Parish, Arusha and Ronald at Sacred Heart Parish, Dagoretti Corner. We congratulate them and wish them God’s abundant blessings and graces in ministry.
